The album is housed within a handsome multi-color silkscreened jacket bearing new artwork from Michael Elrod (based on a photograph by Chuck Johnson) and includes Johnson’s informative liner notes. The album is accompanied by a download coupon for DRM-free digital files of the downloader's choice. "Crows in the Basilica" was recorded both with Phil Manley at San Francisco’s Studio SQ (six tracks) and within Mills College’s Littlefield Concert Hall (two tracks) and subsequently mastered by Patrick Klem.
